Our Philosophy

We focus on everyday organizing, not stylistic complexity...in other words, "practical organizing in a Pinterest world".

Our belief is that there's no one-size-fits-all organizing system that works for everybody.  From stand-alone task, to multi-room project, to developing a workflow, we work with you to develop solutions that fit your lifestyle, without imposing a rigid inflexible system.

We specialize in organizing for 50+.  As we get older, there are logistical challenges that affect organization, as well as viewpoints that must be respected while also supportively encouraging change.

Whether you have a few problem areas or are lost about where to even begin, No Frills Organizing can help!

4-Step EASY Process

Evaluate.   We assess your situation, by learning about your needs, your lifestyle, and what you would like to achieve.

Action.   We jointly develop a tailored plan to achieve your goals, whether it's for one area or top-to-bottom, and we take action together to accomplish the plan.

Sustain.   Before declaring success for an area, we monitor how it works in "real life", adjusting as needed so that workable organization is achieved.

Yearn.   Success is contagious, and with all the benefits that organization brings, you may feel empowered to take on another project, and we are ready to help!

Pro Tip #1

Find extra storage areas by looking for unused vertical space.  If you have a basement, install a simple storage unit or corner shelves on the wall at the top of the stair landing.   Hang storage pockets inside closet doors.  Or even put up a simple over-the-toilet shelf.  Look around and get creative...you may be surprised at what you find!

Pro Tip #2

Don't bust your budget with expensive organizing supplies.  Shoe boxes are great for sorting and storing.  The Dollar Store has a nice supply of bins for organizing shelves, drawers, and cabinets.  And it's easy to make mini-shelves to hold your in-progress organizing and sorting, by just stacking books or bricks and laying a board across.
